Birthday Party

Hello everyone, well it's sunday morning 6am and right now ebay is not looking to good with 2 bids the watches are ok with 14 and some multiple watches, but I will see what happens around 10 am or so, well we had the party at my best friends house yesterday it was nice, simple and relaxing, it was nice to get out for a change, we had hamburgers, hotdogs, pasta salad and black forest cake ahhhh yes black forest cake,chocolate, cherries and whipped cream, it doesn't get any better than that, it was really good I have to hand it to chrises wife dawn she can cook and bake really well, we sat there talked about all the people we hated in highschool and watched a few movies, we watched rocky 1 and rocky 2, ahhhh great movies and classics, we were going to eat outside but it was raining and he can't stand his wife's family which I can't blame him for, some of the stories he has told me especially about the father and the sister's boyfriend yeah, some sad, some entertaining, but really hysterically funny, it's like living in the land of the lost down there lol, but anyway back to the mets game oh my God there actually winning I'm going to have a heart attack, well it doesn't really matter now there season is pretty much over oh well. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona

My 33rd Birthday

Hello everyone, it's a rainy, sticky day today, well it's my 33rd birthday today, I was never really big on my birthday's to me it's just another day like any other, sometimes people make a big deal out of it and have these big parties and for what nothing really, my best friend is throwing me a party tomorrow just something small a barbque and a cake with him and his wife, I'm sure it will be nice at least I will get away from my father for the day, so far alot of people have wished me a happy birthday especially from Bonanzle, I got emails and text and in my booth people wished me a happy birthday too, I would say at least 50 people if not more, it's nice to know that you are appreciated once in a while, I'm sure it will be the opposite if I ever have kids one day I'm sure I will make a huge deal out of there birthday's and presents galore, I guess as you get older you don't really think about your birthday anymore, your another day older honestly that's all lol. but it's ok I actually like getting older some people like staying young looking what's the point your still your age whether your 30 or 60 that number never changes and people go nuts with facelifts and tummy tucks and for nothing, your going to die when it's your time to die I mean let's be honest here. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona

Feeling Much Better

Hello everyone it's wednesday afternoon and I can feel the heat, it's gonna be 90 today, I'm off today I need to rest my leg it's at 90% now, it's much better than it's been, this leg took a really long time to heal, it was painfull, frustrating and really annoying, it was really interesting to see me walking up the stairs one leg at a time lol because I couldn't really press down on the leg, it took me 100 hours to walk up 2 flights of stairs in the train station and I purposely waited for all the people to go up the stairs so I don't get embarrassed and I could take my time, believe me it wasn't cute looking at all lol, but I worked with it and delt with it everyday, I exercised it moved it constantly so it didn't get stiff that's what I was worried about more than anything was it getting stiff, every morning and every night I exercised it so I could get the blood flowing in that area, and I'm glad it never got numb or anything the spot is still a little tender so I do massage it all the time, I know it seems like alot but the pain was really intense sometimes and it was no joke, sometimes I wanted painkillers but I refused to take them, not a huge believer in drugs they only mask things and never totally get's rid of the pain, but within a week or so I'm predicting the pain will be totally gone. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona

Post Office Blues

Hello everyone, it's monday morning, I just got home from the post office and I had to stand out there for 1 hour and 15 minutes because they decided not to open until 11 am, meanwhile they are supposed to open up at 9am, and I wasn't going back and forth with the packages, so I just stood there sweating in the heat like a moron and waited, people were coming left and right, I sware to you people are blind, I can't tell you how many people looked at my cart full of packages then tried to walk into the post office anyhow like they were special or something, Uh helloooooo, what am I standing there for the hell of it for a display, first the sign said 1030 am, then around 1015 am the sign changed to 11 am, come on now people were not happy and you really can't blame them, then you have the people that ask you what's going on in another language, I mean seriously if you come to this country I'm sorry I feel that you should learn freakin english give me a break now, and the service in the post office is average at best, and the old guy that has been there for 100 years needs to retire, he's old, cranky and so damn slow, sometimes I just want to shoot myself standing there when he waits on me because he takes his sweet time ringing up my packages, I stand there very calmly with him even though I want to scream hurry up hurry the hell up already, the other problem with this post office is they have 1 teller and 15 people on line meanwhile they have 5 places to put tellers, it just gets to a point where it get's so stupid but it's also my local post office and the other one that's on 88th street and 5th avenue is a wee bit far from me, well that's my rant for the day. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona

Waffles For Breakfast

Hello everyone, it is sunday morning and ebay is looking pretty good so far I have 6 bids not to terrible, it's a hell of alot better than the 2 bids I got last week, well I will see what happens within the next few hours, right now I'm sitting here thinking about going to my local coffee shop and getting waffles mmmmmmmmmmm with maple syrup and butter and homefries on the side, this place mike's donut shop I've been going too for many years has always made a great breakfast, you name it I've had it pancakes, donuts, bacon, egg and cheese on a roll, and great prices also, I wonder if pops want's anything wait a second who am I kidding of course this is my father he would eat dog food if you told him it was the best tasting thing I ever had lol, and it's always these little hole in the wall places that make the best food, all these places like IHop and Denny's make good food don't get me wrong but I am very loyal to the local places I have been going to for many years, I'm like that sue me lol, an of course you cannot beat brooklyn pizza, there are 3 places that are great around me, Original Pizza, Grandma's Pizza and Rocky and Nicky's Pizza, Original's and Rocky and Nicky's make great pies, Grandma's makes a great thin crust pizza and Original's sausage rolls are out of this world, there crunchyon the outside nice and soft on the inside and not to bready so good, well off to mike's I go to get some breakfast. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona

Always Stay Positive

Hello everyone, it is saturday morning, and it's another humid one out there oh well it;s the summer, I have to deal with it, ebay is looking okay so far this week as of right now I have 3 bids which is the norm for me on a saturday, sunday morning is where I usually get most of my bids, and I'm always hopeing for the best when it comes to everything, you can't always have a negative attitude about everything in life, if your always negative then people around you won't like you too much and have that impression of you so I always try to stay positive no matter what kind of situation is thrown at me, I remember when I was a teenager I hated everything, I didn't express it persay but I sure thought it, I would have silly fights with my mother over nonsense usually, things like what she was cooking for dinnner if I didn't like it I would protest go in my room and not eat lol, or about school God I hated school, I hated the people, some of the students where so phony, they hung out with there clicks and I suppose I did too but I wasn't phony about anything I was always myself, I didn't have some sort of a need to impress anyone like some kids did, and what does it all mean in the end absolutley nothing, I went to school, listened to my music and that's what I did, never was into drugs or drinking, I knew lots of people who were, it just never appealed to me, trashing your body and for what to make a fool out of yourself no I just never really cared. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona

My Favorite Foods

Hello everyone, it's friday afternoon, I just got home from work and it's an other terribly hot day today, but I'll survive. today I made a few things cheese cake, carrott cake, linzer tarts, cheese danish which I hate, nut brownies, chocolate cake and peanut butter cookies, ahhhhh peanut butter cookies I can eat them all day, I love peanut butter foods, Ice Cream, Reeses Pieces Buttercups and Butterfingers, what's funny is I'm not really huge on eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, ok call me weird but that's how I am, also I prefer shoe string french fries I can't stand krinkle cut fries and I do not like mashed potatoes and I really hate baked potatoes, ok so what everybody has there preferences lol, I also love eating fish and chicken, I like meat but I usually don't eat it everyday,I love lemon sole, calamari and shrimp, if you put any of those in front of my face and a burger I would take the fish or chicken anyday of the week, chicken I can eat it anyway, fried in salad love chicken salad, but I do not like chicken baked, I never liked chicken skin it's slimy and terrible and no matter how moist you want it, it never turns out that way, it's always boring and dry, another food I hate german pork chops, its the pork chops in the oven with potatoes, sauce and onions that's a big bore and it's bland, I do like porkchops but not done in that way, well those are my favorite foods. and the foods that I hate. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona

Sleeping Habits

Hello everyone, it's thursday morning 3 30AM, I just woke up and I'm getting ready to go to work, the sweat is dripping down my forehead, I can feel the heat already and I'm not looking foward to it, but you know what I can't complain, the summer had to hit us sooner or later, june and july were pretty cool 70's maybe some 80's, but when August came the heat hit like a tidal wave 90-95 plus if not more with humidity, but what do you expect it can't be cool forever, anyway I can hear my father in the back room snoring away, he is such a heavy sleeper, you could put a bomb under my father's bed and you couldn't wake him up lol, me on the other hand I get up 500 times a night, I don't think I've ever slept a night straight through without getting up every hour on the hour, but when I wake up in the morning I feel fine, it's not like I feel tired or anything, I suppose that's a good thing, my sleeping habits are just awful, I'm suprised I don't have dark circles under my eyes, I just look my normal self not that it thrills me either to look at myself but hey it's a face lol, well off to work I go, not looking foward to it at all, I just hate this heat it's too much, thanks for listening and reading. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona

I Wish

Hello everyone, it's tuesday morning and I can feel the sweltering heat already, it's going to be 95 degrees today and humid, I'm totally not looking foward to it, I just want to stay home plop on my couch and run the air conditioner all day and night for that matter, but I can't do that things have to be done, I wish I would hot the lottery or come into some money, I would then buy a house and live like a king, and I would never work again, I know most people that win the lottery continue to work but not me, call me lazy or whatever you want but come on nobody like to work, it's just not fun, the same dreaded boring job day after day the job never changes, it's always the same routine, I really do hate working I'm not going to lie about that, it doesn't fill me or do anything for me, it doesn't make me happy, it's a daily chore, the only thing that would give me any happiness is working in the music industry, even if it's working in the mail room of the building anything just to get my foot in the door would make me happy, music is the love of my life if you want to know the truth, I turn to it when I'm happy, sad or alone, it's a hell of alot better then turning to drugs or alcohol like some people do, I really think I would be numb without music, I really mean that. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona

Family Tradition

Hello everyone, well it's sunday morning and I don't have a good feeling about ebay this week, we only have 2 bids the watches are good with 16 but who knows what will happen by the time 11am rolls around, I can only hope for the best right, right now I'm sitting here listing item's on ebay and eating a bagel, I have been going to this bagel store since I'm a little kid, they make all of there bagels right on the premesis, the everything bagels are amazing crunchy on the outside soft on the inside, it's sort of a tradition in my family that we get bagels and creme cheese or butter every sunday morning ever since I was little, just something we always did, well my ebay item's just went off and it was a bust of a week only sold 2 but that's ok there is really no point in getting discouraged about it, maybe next week I will sell 10 or 12, sometimes it also depends on the item's you have on there too, but I believe the item's I have had on the last few weeks have been pretty decent quality, I mean there not 3-4 hundred dollar item's but still they are 25 30 dollars item's and if you sell between 10-15 a week the money does add up especially if you get multiple bids and I do get the multiple bid's sometimes and it's always nice to see, well it's back to the mets game there actually winning 2-0 let's see if they keep the lead miracles do happen lol. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona

Being Overweight Is Not Fun

Hello everyone, it's friday night and I'm hot and bored, I have nothing to do, in a few minutes I'm going to order some chinese food, there is an amazing chinese place right near me called dragon china, honestly the best chinese food I've ever had, I mean I am a big guy and love my food what can I tell you, I'm always surrounded by it at work and home, and believe me I hate being overweight, there is alot of things that go wrong with your body when your overweight, my legs hurt me sometimes and it does take it's toll on my body, it's not pleasant at all, and it is better being thinner, and it's tough especially when you buy clothes, you have to embarass yourself and go into big and tell and get the bigger sized shirts and jeans, and it's so damn expensive for a pair of big sized jeans, they can run you $50.00 and a shirt can be as much as $30.00, it's really crazy, why is it because there is more material or something, more work has to be done on it, I really don't think it's fair at all, and rather silly if you ask me, but that's just the way it is until I take off some pounds, I will just have to deal with the expensive clothes, but I must admit, ebay sells the big and tall items, and I do get alot of shirts and pants from there also, so I can save a few dollars. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona

Hello everyone, it's wednesday afternoon, it's so sticky and humid outside you can sweat off ten pounds, and I have sold 300 items on bonanzle finally, it took me 7 months to do it but I did it, and I have gotten many nice compliments on it which is nice I appreciate it, but apparently I have a jealous hater that seems to think it matters on much money the item's sell for rather then how many item's you sell, well to me that doesn't matter, she has no clue how much I paid for the item's where I got them from or anything like that, I didn't join bonanzle to sell high end item's, I only joined to make a few extra dollars, she decided to call me a child because I said doing the happy dance after I sold 300 item's well isn't that just to damn bad, what's the matter you a little jealous of me because people where saying nice things about me and that just ate at you didn't it and you know damn well your not liked on bonanzle are you now and I am, you wish you were me on there, you couldn't spit on me on bonanzle even if you tried, she had the nerve to call me Mr. Bonanzle yeah that's a good one, that totally was not my intention at all, and she starts silly threads all the time and I start one thread and she screams at me for it, and for what over nothing, she did it just to dig in to me, but you know what I don't give a damn she's a jealous, bitter person and that's how she will always be, I hope she reads this and gets mad, I Win. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona

Ahhhhh The Cool Air Feels So Good

Hello everyone, it's tuesday afternoon and it's a scorcher out there again today, the bakery I must say wasn't to bad today surprisingly, it was hot but I wasn't dying, El Cheapo is finally getting a new air conditioner system in there this friday so thank God he finally woke up, miracles do happen in life lol. it only took him 8 years to break into his wallet and do something nice for his workers, sure he never feels the heat because my boss is hardly there, he really doesn't have to be the place works itself you know, he's there maybe once a week if he's lucky of course to pay us and collect his money for the week, he actually really is a nice guy I have to admit that, but like any other boss he want's the work done and I understand that, I'm thinking about asking him If I can do a coconut macaroon I have a recipe that I have we don't sell them there and they are pretty popular and I myself love them, I wonder if he will say yes, and if they sell that would be great, I'm sure they will do well there, it's something different, it tastes really good so why not right, I just have to get him in a good mood then I will present the recipe to him to see what he says, I'm hoping he says yes, I'm tired of all the same recipes and this is something simple and new, I'm hoping for the best. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona

Hot Summer Days At The Bakery

Hello everyone, it's monday morning, It's a hot, humid steamy day out there, it's going to be 95 and humid so I'm sure it will feel like 100 degrees or more , I'm not looking foward to going to the post office eventhough it's only two blocks away, I just want to stay in my living room and relax by my A/C all day why not right it's like hell out there, I'm so glad I'm off today that bakery has to be hot in there, I can see it now there all probably cursing about the air conditioner how you can't really feel it in the back, and you really can't I guess because the oven is so high that it takes over the cool air, the cheap boss needs to get a new A/C system in there and get it over with already, why should his employees suffer for 3 months, it's really ridiculous but hey I suppose if your making good money sometimes you need to be cheap and the people with the most money usually are, if I had alot of money, I'd buy myself a nice house nothing too major, I don't need 16 rooms 4 bathrooms and 2 kitchens lol, just 3 rooms a bathroom a backyard so I can grow some fruits and vegetables, and I must have a game room with a pool table a few video games from the 80's a big screen tv so I can watch all of the mets and giants games and a poker table, I do love to play card games, that's all I want sometimes when people have money thay get all crazed and buy a 25 million dollar mansion and 12 cars why what's the point are you actually going to live in all of those rooms and drive all of those cars think about that. Sellling Memories

Hello everyone, well it's sunday morning and ebay is looking pretty good sort of similar to last week right now I have 7 bids just hoping for 9 or 10 i'll be happy with that and if not that's ok too money is money, but sales are picking up the last few weeks, and it's because the summer is almost over and kids are going back to school so the selling season will be getting better within the next few weeks, the most sales I've ever had in 1 week is 24 and that's pretty good, that was last december during the christmas season and people are always willing to spend money including myself, I remember when I first starting selling I thought I was going to hate it and whenever my dad would mention ebay I would just cringe because he mentioned to me a few times in like 2002 he wanted to try to sell on ebay and I would avoid it because I knew he would drive me crazy with it and of course I was right because he does, but I've gotten so used to his crazy ways that it's nothing to me now, I don't think I've ever missed a sunday listing on ebay in the last 7 years, he always manages to get stuff even if the stuff isn't that good, I still try to sell it anyhow, and we have had great item's so many different things, I've pretty much sold everything you name it jewelry, collectibles, shirts, glassware, but honestly in the end it's worth it, I do enjoy selling now. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona

Shopping Is A Project

Hello everyone, it's saturday afternoon and it's a beautiful sunny day in brooklyn, my leg is so so today not to bad the pain comes and goes, I just want it to go and never come back lol, I'm thinking about going to the mall in nyc and buying a few things I need but I don't know why go by myself, it's boring and what will I have to talk to my mp3 player, I have not been to a mall in years and the last time I went I believe it was the staten island mall with my best friend to go christmas shopping, and I love my best friend but when we shop together he makes me nuts, he takes 500 years to get like 4 or 5 things why I'm not one of those types to walk around, I like to go to a place I already know what I'm getting and just leave, I hate crowds and annoying pushy people can you blame me, him on the other hand let's make a day out of it what's the point, let's sit and eat no I don't want to do that, I want to get what I have to get and go home, I was always that way, and you got those silly teenagers walking around because there cutting class and I'm just like uh why me God why me, ok I was a teenager once but still I never acted they way they do today, I just liked my music and kept to myself I had my family my best friend and that's all I needed to make me happy. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona

Pain Free

Hello everyone, ahhh yes it's tuesday afternoon and it's really hot out there, work today was pretty good and wasn't to hot in there suprisingly, well I went to best buy to see if they had the laptop my sister wanted and they didn't have it so back to the drawing board again oh well I tried, my leg is still bothering me a little bit well that's what happens when you tear cartilage, I mean I can walk and stand on it and everything, but I get an annoying pain once in a while, the pain is definetly not as bad, but it can be annoying when I feel it, I do notice the more I move it the better it feels, I wish there was no such thing as pain, I know I'm living in a fantasy world, but why have any pain at all, why feel anything when something happens to you, I really wouldn't mind living my life like that pain free, but that's not how the body works, my father has arthritis and he's in pain sometimes, he has it in his joints his knees and elbows, but for as long as I can remember he's always had arthritis and guess it doesn't hurt him as much anymore because he grew a tolerance to the pain, once in a while he complains about it, and he's had gout since he was 30 thank god I've never had that, it's not pretty I've seen it, your toes get all blown up and he has to stay away from certain foods, it's a big mess, well back to the mets game, there actually winning for a change, hopefully the keep the lead and win lol. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona

Uncle Joe Joe

Hello everyone, it's monday morning around 630 AM and I'm sitting here thinking of what I'm going to do today, it never ends does it lol, today is food shopping and post office day oh fun I have to pay my insurance bill lol, and I already know what I'm making for dinner today, I always like to plan ahead and get things out of the way, once I'm set I very rarely change my mind, then after work tomorrow, I have to go get my sister her laptop that she wants, she wants the same one I have she liked it when she seen it on saturday, so hopefully when I go there it's not sold out, it's a good deal $329.99 and it has 160 gb and she wants one that can hold lots of pictures, she takes alot of pictures of my niece, she is really a cute kid, I am officially known as uncle joe joe lol, I think my mother started that one so that's what I'm officially known as uncle joe joe, I think it's really cute, now she repeats everything you say lol, it's just too funny, I just can't believe she's going to be three years old already wow, it's seems like yesterday she was born, she's so innocent, running and playing with other kids, people at my mothers job absolutley adore her, and she's really funny, I can tell she will have sense of humor when she get's older. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona

Ebay Vs Bonanzle

Hello everyone, it's sunday afternoon. I just got finished putting my item's on ebay, I had a pretty good week this week, I sold 13 item's I'm very happy about that, but my other selling site bonanza has been pretty dry the last 2 weeks or so the sales have been sporadic, but that's ok, it's the summer months and that's how it goes sometimes, what are you going to do, ebay has been sporadic to lately there are weeks I get 4 sales and weeks I get 15 it's just odd, and I have item's on for weeks that don't sell and all of a sudden it sells, it's crazy and very unpredictable, even when you get "watches" on ebay they don't always turn into bid's, a watch is basically a person is either watching your item because they want to see if it sells or not or they want to buy it for them selves, I've had sometimes 20 item's being watched on ebay at a time and have gotten only 10 sales and don't get me wrong 10 sales is nice but it's not 20, bonanzle is in a league of it's own, people either buy your item or they make an offer on it, there's no listing fees accept a small fee if someone buys your items. there are no auctions yet however people have held auctions in there booth and have been successfull at it, I'm thinking about an auction on bonanzle but I'm not to sure yet, I'm happy with people coming in my room either buying or making an offer on my item's. http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/CharlesSagona
