Burning Building In Bayridge

Hello everyone , well it's thursday afternoon. it's a humid, muggy day today, well I had an interesting night last night, there was a fire down the block from me, it landed up engulphing almost the whole building plus a grocery store and a salon, I've been going to that grocery store since I'm a llittle kid, it's family owned and I'm hoping they will be able to rebuild it, I'm really happy that no on really got hurt, but someone I know that has lived there for 25 years has lost everything, including 2 of her cats, she's a great person and I hope she is ok, I know that she is now with her sister, and I heard that all of the other families where being helped out by the red cross so they have a place to live that's really great, I'm very happy there ok, last night around 1130 or so I started to smell smoke I was like ok so I got up looked out the window and sure enough I seen clouds of smoke, then came the people running and fire engines, they didn't get the fire under control till around 3 am, of course I got no sleep because of all the commotion and the firetruck lights, the smell was just god awful, it doesn't really smell to bad today suprisingly. usually when things burn it can smell for a few days to a week, they said it was an electrical fire that started on the first floor and went all the way up, I was just like wow unbelievable but everything is calm now after all of the chaos that went on.
